Marsh Field Open for the Season
The Village Playground opened officially for the season
on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
The playground opens at 9:00 am and closes at Dusk.

Electronics and Toxic Trash Disposal
Electronics and toxic trash must be brought to one to one of the Town of Hempstead recycling events. For dates and locations of the STOP (Stop Throwing Out Pollutants), and for E-Cycling events, click on this <<link>>.
Expired medications and sharp containers may be brought to the Floral Park Police Department HQ.

Storm Water Management Plan
In December of 2023 the NYS Department of Environmental Protection promulgated new, more stringent rules and reporting requirements for storm water management.
A copy of the 2026 Revision of the Village's Storm Water Management Plan (SWMP) will available for review at Village Hall on April 15th.
